Welcome to Lower Peover School, a rural primary school in the parish of St.Oswald, Lower Peover, which provides a Church of England education for children in the villages of this parish and surrounding areas in both Cheshire East and Cheshire West. The school caters for boys and girls aged 4+ to 11 years.

It is our responsibility as a Church of England school to help each child to develop a set of Christian moral values as a pattern for life. We endeavour to help each child to acquire knowledge, a variety of skills and to instill in them motivation to use these skills. The children must be aware of others and be sensitive towards them, exhibiting an acceptable code of behaviour.

The curriculum teaches children ‘how to think’ not ‘what to think’, and has breadth, balance and relevance. It matches the learning expectations of the pupils to their abilities and aptitudes, enabling them to acquire the skills, knowledge, concepts and values to enjoy their present lives as well as equipping them for the future.

We aim to provide quality in all aspects of learning, providing a stimulating learning environment. The curriculum is enriched and enhanced so that children have first-hand experiences that make learning meaningful and enable them to relate knowledge and understanding to practical or purposeful activities.
