Thank you for all your positive emails regarding the Maths workshop this week. An inspirational evening with many ideas to develop at home and in school. Mrs Maddock, Mr Bradley and myself attended the one day ‘Primary Reasoning Conference’ on Wednesday. The keynote speaker really gave us some wonderful ideas to develop Maths even further…………. definitely a very exciting project.

Year 5 and 6 Netball team
Massive congratulations to the year 5 and 6 netball team who finished 2nd in the tournament on Monday night. The team drew the first game then went onto win the next 3 games but lost the final game. Well done to Gracie, Lucy and Charlotte who scored the goals. Great team work, respect and sportsmanship was shown throughout the tournament. Once again, congratulations on winning your silver medal!

Parents Evening- March 2017 – a few people still haven’t asked for slots. Please log on to https://lowerpeover.parentseveningsystem.co.uk to secure your parents evening slot. Appointments with all teachers are available on Tuesday 21st March. Appointments with Years 4 and 6 teachers are also available on Thursday 23rd March. Appointments with Reception, Years 1, 2, 3 and 5 teachers are available on Thursday 30th March.

It’s Nose or Never ….Red Nose Day – Friday 24th March Don’t forget to come to school dressed as your favourite nose, there will be a prize for each age group. If you would like to make a donation to red nose day, please send in a donation. Bake sale, cakes for 50pence each.

Easter Service The children have been working hard with Mrs. Court learning the Easter songs. Please join us, in the church, at 9.15 am on Wednesday 29th March.

I will be available at all parents evenings if you would like to speak to me, no need to make an appointment, just pop in!
