Reminder re: Mad Science

This has been cancelled tonight due to the Christmas Fair; the two remaining sessions are on Friday 9th and 16th December.

Hand bells

It is the Lower Peover tradition that the Year 6 children learn to play the hand bells. This academic year the children will be performing at the Christingle service on Wednesday 25th January (2 pm for Key Stage 1 and 6pm for Key stage 2)

Karate

The children have been having taster karate sessions with Sensei Ted Clare, which has proved to be very popular. Sensei Ted Clare has arranged a Saturday Karate club starting on Saturday 14th January, in school. A junior club for children aged 6-14 and an adult club for children or adults 15+. Forms have been sent home, and quite a number have been returned. If you still wish to reserve a place, you can return your form or email head@lowerpeover.cheshire.sch.uk and I will pass on your details.

Christmas Jumper Day

This will be held on Friday 16TH December, the same day as the Christmas lunch.

Year 4 Class Assembly

I am looking forward to watching this assembly with parents at 2pm on Tuesday 6th December.

New Age Kurling Event

A group of 4 Year 3 and Year 4 children will be representing Lower Peover at HCCS on Wednesday 7th December during the afternoon- we wish them all good luck!

Bag 2 school – Wednesday 25th January 9am

Bag 2 School is a company that specialises in good quality second hand clothing that can be re-used. They collect adult and children’s clothing, paired shoes, hats, belts, handbags, ties and soft toys.  I will send home a bag for you to collect items in, alternatively you can use any black bin liner.  We are happy to store these in school from Monday 23rd January- thank you!

I look forward to seeing you all at the Christmas Fair at 6pm on Friday 2nd December.
