For your information, only James Forshaw was nominated as a parent Governor. We are pleased to say that he will be continuing as Parent Governor, thank you James.
Once again we have had great success at the cross country competition at Holmes Chapel High School. A considerable number of KS2 children took part and Lower Peover took 6 of the possible 12 first place medals during the three week event. Many thanks to all who took part and congratulations to the winners – their successes have been shared in school. I would also like to thank staff and parents for their support, enabling so many of our children to take part.
A Book Fair will be in school from Friday 16th October. On that day children will be given the opportunity to visit the fair and order books. The Book Fair will then be open to parents after the Harvest Festival on Wednesday 21st October.
The Harvest Service is on Wednesday 21st October at 9.15am in Church. You are most welcome to join us for tea and coffee in the school hall afterwards. Y6 will be holding their usual produce sale, details of which are to follow.
There will be a special Harvest lunch for children on Thursday 22nd October. If your child would like to have this meal, please pay on Parent Pay.
Traffic at drop-off in the morning
Traffic has flowed quite freely this week; thank you for your co-operation. Please can you continue to be vigilant at all times and be particularly aware of any pedestrians who might be walking along the Cobbles at this time.
Lower Peover Open Day
The school will be open to both new and existing parents on Tuesday 20th October from 9.30-11.30 and 1.30-3pm. We look forward to seeing you.
